Greig finished the 1000m in a time of one minute 10.08 seconds.
In the two 500m Division B events on the weekend, Greig finished the opening race in a time of 35.37 seconds and this morning (Australian time) placed 17th in B Division, with a time of 35.54 seconds.
“I am still feeling like I would rather be operating at a higher level, however, there is a decent skating base there that I can build on,” Greig said this morning, at the conclusion of his final race.
There may be a two week break before the next World Cup event in Inzell, Germany, but for Greig there will be no resting. “Right now the plan is to return to training and try to regain some of my power again.”
The Inzell World Cup event runs from December 4th to 6th.
