The first athletes have been selected to represent Australia at the Lillehammer 2016 Youth Olympic Games. The final Team will be known in mid to late January when final quota places are allocated in some sports.
Australia is looking to take a team of approximately 14 athletes in snowboard, alpine skiing, biathlon, cross country skiing, ice hockey (skills challenge), freestyle skiing, luge and short track speed skating.
