SKI CROSS PROGRAM INFORMATION

The OWIA Ski Cross program aims to provide contracted athletes with a world class program opportunity including world's best coaching, team management and support services.

The program is supported by:

• National Federation: Snow Australia
• Program Partners: Australian Olympic Committee, Australian Institute of Sport, New South Wales Institute of Sport
• Sponsors and Supporters: Jindabyne Sport and Recreation Centre
• Underpinning Program: Snow Australia Development Program
• Domestic Training Base: Perisher, Thredbo, Mt Hotham

Performance highlights since the inception of the program include:

• One World Cup Win (Scott Kneller)
• Seven additional World Cup Podium Performances (Jenny Owens x4, Sami Kennedy-Sim x2, Anton Grimus x1)
  
• Seventh place finish at the 2010 Olympic Winter Games (Scott Kneller)
  
• Seventh place finish at the 2014 Olympic Winter Games (Katya Crema)
• Eighth place finish at the 2018 Olympic Winter Games (Sami Kennedy-Sim)
• Fifth place finish at the 2011 World Championships (Jenny Owens)
