Employment Opportunity - OWIA Snowboard Cross Technical Coach

The Olympic Winter Institute of Australia (OWIA) is seeking a suitable Snowboard Cross Technical Coach at the World Cup level, with a passion for high performance and organizational excellence. Traveling with the Snowboard Cross World Cup Team and working with the development program, the appointed candidate will work with the Head Coach to produce high performance results through world class sport programming and technical coaching.

Working with the OWIA’s Snowboard Cross Program, the Technical Coach will work with the Head Coach to provide:
• Technical coaching and direction
• Competition strategy
• Program planning and administration
• Athlete management
• Equipment management

The successful applicant will have:
• Strong coaching background in Snowboard Cross, including suitable athlete or coaching experience at an international level; preferably at a World Championships, World Cup and/or Olympic Winter Games
