Brooke Lochland

Childhood Ambition: One thing I always wanted to do as a child was beat the boys I trained with. I not only beat boys my age but beat men that are 15 years older than me. I also want to be a World Champion in Inline skating, which is the highest achievement in the sport since Inline speed skating is not an Olympic event. I have not achieved this yet but I feel that I have matured and grown as a person and learnt a lot and now believe that I am just as fast as all of the other skaters competing. I now am working towards the next Olympics in Sochi, Russia for Ice Skating.
Proudest Moment: I don't have one moment that stands out from any other but making my first World Championships when I was 14 years old was nice.
Favourite Food: Seafood
Favourite Music: Depends on my mood but mostly anything. Music that makes me want to dance is always good but I only pull out my awesome moves when no-body is around haha
Personal Motto: Champions are made when no-one is watching
I began this sport .... I began Inline skating when I was 4 years old. I began learning how to Ice skate at the end of 2008.
Participation in other sports: Inline Speed Skating
When I am not training/competing I am: In Australia visiting my family and friends
Highest level of education achieved: International Baccalaureate
Favourite overseas competition and why: This will be my first season competing in the Ice skating World Cups but I think that Holland will be amazing. Always such a big crowd and everyone is so excited about the sport. I have always loved skating inline World Cups in Switzerland because it is such a beautiful country.
Sponsors: Cado Motus (Dutch inline, ice skating company)
