Australia’s top Alpine Ski Racers are the big winners from a new KARBON outfitting sponsorship announced this week.

KARBON the Australian Olympic Team supplier of outerwear via the Olympic Winter Institute of Australia (OWI) together have agreed to outfit the National Alpine Team athletes and coaches with outerwear and competition uniforms.

The sponsorship & supply arrangement comes on the back of big changes in Alpine Ski racing in Australia, with the appointment of two time Olympian Brad Wall as Program Director and the increased involvement of former Olympians, including Jono Brauer, Al Gus and Richie Biggins in the management and direction of the sport.

The KARBON sponsorship will see National Team athletes outfitted in high end technical race and outerwear. Program Director Brad Wall said of the sponsorship, “This is a tremendous opportunity for our athletes and provides a genuine incentive and recognition for aspiring National Team athletes coming through. I, the athletes and coaches are very appreciative of the support provided to our program by KARBON and the OWI. KARBON has a long history and heritage in Alpine Ski Racing and in Australian winter sports, we look forward to the ongoing challenge and continuing the hard work of developing future stars of Alpine Ski Racing for Australia.”
