The world’s best junior short track speed skating athletes have assembled at the Medibank Icehouse in Melbourne’s Docklands facility to compete in the 2012 ISU Junior World Championships.

The Australian team consists of male athletes Pierre Boda, Nate Henry, Armstorng Lazenby and Angus McCulloch with female athletes Deanna Lockett, Emma Coxon-Smith and Sinead Forgarty.

This week, Olympic Gold Medalist Steven Bradbury was presented the honour of officially announcing the Australian team for the International Skating Union (ISU) World Junior Short Track Speed Skating Championships, taking place in Melbourne from Friday 24th - Sunday 26th February 2012.

The AIS Short Track Speed Skating program aims to provide elite scholarship athletes with a world class program opportunity including world's best coaching, team management and support services.
