AUS success at Nor-Am events

NSWIS snowboard cross athletes Andy Fisher and Cam Bolton had very solid results in two Nor-Am competitions held at Big White, Canada, over the weekend.

Andy Fisher achieved the first podium result of his young career with second place result on day two. Cam Bolton’s best was a fourth place finish on day one.

In the same events, strong performances were achieved by Victorian rider Belle Brockoff and NSW rider Jaryd Hughes who botfh inished third on day two.

Fisher and Bolton will now spend the week training with the AIS program and World Champion Alex Pullin at Copper Mountain, Colorado, USA. Bolton will then join Pullin for a start at the next World Cup event at Blue Mountain, Canada, while Fisher will receive a World Cup start opportunity at the last event of the season in Valmalenco, Italy.
