Nathan Johnstone

Since strapping on a board for the first time as a 10 year old, Nate has crammed a stack of incredible wins into the short number of years that followed. A World Championship, winner of the overall freestyle snowboard end of season World Cup title, winner of the end of season halfpipe World Cup title and six World Cup podiums including two wins are just some of the performances that have transformed the wanna-be surfer from Sydney’s northern beaches into one of Australia’s preeminent winter athletes.
Between now and the 2014 Sochi Olympic Winter Games, he will work hard to reverse the disastrous misfortune that prevented him competing in Vancouver in 2010. He suffered an injury two weeks before the start of the Vancouver Winter Olympics and has since developed an even stronger resolve to enjoy Olympic glory the next time around.
