NSWIS alpine skier Greta Small has continued her return to World Cup competition in the weather impacted Garmisch Partenkirchen World Cup in Germany, finishing the super-g in 43rd place. Originally a downhill was meant to open proceedings in Garmisch, but bad weather prevented mandatory training earlier in the week, forcing organisers to reschedule the event to January 31 as a second super-g competition. Small finished 5.08 seconds behind event winner Lara Gut-Behrami of Switzerland Bad weather again struck overnight, postponing the competition for a second time, with the second super-g event to take place tonight at the German resort.
