Q & A
Proudest moment: My two proudest moments so far have been performing two clean skates at the Youth Winter Olympic Games in my singles career, and then qualifying for the World Championships in my first season of being an Ice Dancer.
I began my sport in: I first learnt to skate when I was a toddler because I was always running around being crazy at the ice rink. I began training before and after school when I was 8 years old and haven’t looked back since!
When I am not training or competing, I am: Studying, working, playing with my dog, and ALWAYS listening to music!
I enjoy my sport because: Ice skating gives me the opportunity to explore both my athleticism and artistry in one. There are new challenges every day and never an end to what I can work towards and achieve. Favourite international competition: The World Championships are always an amazing event. The vibe of the arena is incredible, and we get to put out our final performances of the year to represent our country at the highest event of the season. I also love Four Continents as I get the chance to be part of and support a larger team of Australian skaters, which is unique to this event each year.
Favourite food: Spaghetti Bolognese
Favourite music: My Spotify is as unpredictable as Sydney weather, but I am always ready to listen to chill beats or get dancing to throwback music!
