Ferlazzo started strongly in Winterbrg finishing third in the Nations Cup qualifying even for the second straight week.
In the first run of the World Cup event, the QAS slider opened with a time of 51.501 seconds which was the 17th fastest of the round.
In the final run, Ferlazzo improved to have the 12th fastest run of the round in 51.531 seconds.
Ferlazzo finished with a two-run time of 1:43.032 seconds and a final ranking of 12th.
Austrian Jonas Mueller emerged victorious in a two-run time of 1:41.742, 1.29 seconds ahead of Ferlazzo.
The luge tour will remain in Germany for another week, competing in Oberhof on January 26.
