AIS/VIS Scholarship athletes Laura Peel and David Morris were among those to prematurely head indoors, finishing the frustrating World Cup sixth round in 12th and 14th.
The women's final was cancelled with the finishing order being determined by qualification results while the men's final was reduced to a one jump competition.
Twenty-one-year-old Peel was in good form going into this event with an 11th in this month's World Championships and a top 10 finish in the previous World Cup event.
The event was won by American Emily Cook, Olga Volkova from Ukraine in second and China's Xin Zhang in third.
Most of the men's field was restricted to double somersaults and not triples due to a lack of approach speed caused by the head winds.
The men's was won by Belarus' Anton Kushnir, second was Ukraine's Stanislav Kravchuk and China's Zongyang Jia in third.
The AIS team moves to Minsk/Raubichi, Belarus, for the last aerial event on this season's World Cup calendar on February 19.
