Doug Crawford has finished in a seasons best 33rd place at the ski cross World Cup event in Veysonnaz, Switzerland.
After two days of heavy snowfall, which saw 70-80cm of snow fall, the event organisers were forced to cancel the qualification time trial round, with all athletes taking part in head-to-head racing.
Fortunately conditions improved on the Sunday for the race to go ahead.
In the opening round of 64, the VIS skier was unable to advance to the next round, after crossing the line in third, giving him a final result of equal 33rd position.
Taking victory was David Mobaerg of Sweden in the men's event, with local Swiss skier Fanny Smith the women's event winner.
