OWIA ski cross athlete Anton Grimus opened his World Cup season by posting the second fastest time in the qualification session at Nakiska, Canada, this morning Australian time.
The bearded Grimus was just 0.03 seconds behind Austria’s pacesetter Johannas Rohrweck and 0.05 seconds faster than Frenchman Jean Frederic Chapuis in a gripping session.
Grimus’ teammate Sami Kennedy-Sim also made the finals, clocking the 16th fastest time and will line up in the 16 women finals tomorrow.
