Sami Kennedy-Sim has finished in 15th place at the opening World Cup of the season in Secret Garden, China, competing on the competition course that will be used for the 2022 Olympic Winter Games in February.
The two-time Olympian had a strong qualifying performance, advancing to finals in in 7th place, 0.87 seconds behind the first place qualifier Sandra Neaslund of Sweden.
In the first round of finals, Kennedy-Sim was unable to progress to the next round, finishing in fourth place in her quarter final heat.
Neaslund went on to take victory in the women's event, with Russian skier Sergey Ridzik winning the men's event.
