SNOWBOARD CROSS PROGRAM INFORMATION

The OWIA Snowboard Cross program aims to provide contracted athletes with a world class program opportunity including world's best coaching, team management and support services.

The program is supported by:

• National Federation: Snow Australia
• Program Partners: Australian Olympic Committee, Australian Institute of Sport, New South Wales Institute of Sport
• Sponsors and Supporters: Jindabyne Sport and Recreation Centre
• Underpinning Program: New South Wales Institute of Sport
• Domestic Training Base: Perisher, Mt Hotham, Snow Australia NSTC Jindabyne.

Performance highlights since the inception of the program include:

• Gold Medal, 2026 Olympic Winter Games (Josie Baff)
• Silver Medal, 2018 Olympic Winter Games (Jarryd Hughes)
• 2 x World Championship Gold Medals (Alex Pullin 2011 & 2013)
• Team World Championship Gold Medal (Belle Brockhoff & Jarryd Hughes 2021)
• World Championship Silver Medal 2023 (Josie Baff)
• Team World Championship Silver Medal (Mia Clift & Cam Bolton 2025)
• World Championship Bronze Medal 1999 (Zeke Steggall) and 2017 (Alex Pullin)
